There was no script, just true stories and raw emotion…
Give Hope Foundation was established as a non profit corporation in early 2005. As a volunteer operated non-profit organization, they provide support to children and families in Central Florida who are battling childhood cancer and have a unique combination of medical, emotional and financial needs.
When this inspiring foundation wanted to create a moving video to share their mission and tell potential donors what they were all about, they came to us to help with this special project. The foundation asked the patients and their families to share their emotional stories and tell how the Give Hope Foundation helped them through their difficult journeys.
We sat down and collaborated to help their vision come to life. We refined their outline, added dramatic, but subtle lighting, and found the perfect chair and location, to create a setting where the families and their stories were the focus. We had the participants wear black to keep the focus on their faces. When a person tells a story about a very scary situation regarding a beloved family member emotions surface. There was no script, just true stories and raw emotion.
It was a humbling day to film these stories and hear how vulnerable a family can be under the most heart wrenching situations, yet inspirational to learn how the Give Hope Foundation can be so selfless and so helpful, both financially and emotionally with all that they do. We were happy to give them a beautiful video to share their mission.
The foundation shared the video at their gala fundraiser with much success!
Who knew Plastics and Chemical engineers could have so much fun!
NEXEO Solutions, a leading Plastics and Chemical Company recently came to Central Florida for their National Convention, held at the Grande Lakes JW Marriott. We were contracted to cover the convention from top to bottom, with both videography and photography. We filmed the entire week and edited on site, to produce a “Happy Face” video shown at the closing meeting. A “Happy Face” video is a recap of the entire convention and is shown at the end of the conference to recap all the events of the week — kind of a look what you learned and how much fun you had video — now go out there, keep motivated, and show your clients what you got!
We also photographed the convention for our client, and covered everything from the Keynote Speaker to the educational seminars, to the fun parties and entertainment! Who knew Plastics and Chemical engineers could have so much fun!
The Client was very pleased with the video and images we produced — and had this to say:
“Thanks for a great job last week on Nexeo! We will definitely keep you in mind for future events.” — Darin Baker, Production Resource Manager, Corporate Events, Freeman
Laugh uncontrollably, quack like a duck…
Tom DeLuca is a leader in the art of hypnosis! His talents in the corporate world have been recognized nationally for many years. Tom is always redefining his talents and sculpting his shows to stay up with current trends in his industry — so when he wanted to update his website with a new video to showcase his corporate hypnosis show, Tom came to us for help.
We first met with Tom a few years back when he called on us to help with his media needs, so we were already familiar with his style and technique. Tom travels all over the country and performs for all types of businesses and conventions and is typically brought in to motivate, entertain, relax the participants, and open them up to being creative and imaginative. Many times the client will film the event and Tom was able to get ahold of some of his performances, so that we could use a few clips of the footage to create the video he needed.
The challenge for us, was that all the performance footage was shot by local talent at the various venues around the country, so we weren’t present and in control of how things were filmed, etc. We were able to pull from that footage and shoot some additional footage with a green screen and voice over, to create the video Tom was looking for. The video is presently on Tom ‘s website and is an important tool to promote his services to future clients! And if you were ever at one of Tom DeLuca’s performances and don’t believe you we’re quacking like a duck or laughing uncontrollably, well there just may be proof on this video, so check it out!
