Special Place for Super Kids Battling Life-Threatening Issues
A Girl’s Special Wish
In Central Florida, we are fortunate to have a super cool place for kids who are battling life-threatening health issues. This is also for children who are terminally ill. It’s called Give Kids The World. If you haven’t heard of it or haven’t been to this magical place, it is an amazing village. There are lots of bright colored buildings. There’s also a big mushroom building and a colorful ice cream parlor. And there are so many fun things for the “Make a Wish Kids” to do with their families! This little village is almost hidden. It is tucked off the beaten path. It is a place where kids and their loved ones can stay for the week. They are among others who are in similar health situations as what they are enduring.
Give Kids the World: A Wedding Wish for Audrey
Give Kids The World – a place where you can just be you. And forget about your worries for just a little while. Who cares if you have lost your hair? Who is going to be concerned if you have an oxygen tank following you around? And – nobody is going to look at you differently! Each “Wish Kid” has something going on whether it is visible or not. But when they are visiting the village it’s all smiles and laughter.
Audrey, a special little girl just wanted to see her parents get married. And the wonderful folks at the Make a Wish Foundation and Give Kids the World worked together to make that happen. This was complete with a wedding ceremony in the castle, hair, and makeup in the salon, and pictures with Mickey and Minnie. – This was another wish Audrey had!

Audrey and her Mom got the royal pampering treatment. And her parents were happily married among family and friends who also traveled to Florida to be part of Audrey’s wish.

We were honored to film their special day. We knew that Audrey had her family would always have these wonderful family memories. These were special memories to look back on and remember. This was a very special time. Another wish was made. And we were honored to be just a small part of a little girls special dream and special day.
