Sennheiser, Exhibitor # 2: New Mikc Technology
Sennheiser’s exhibit displays better Microphone Technology for Educators and Businesses.
Capturing audio has long produced less than quality results. However, Sennheiser has launched some serious audio advances. Thus, you can expect new clarity in speech and sound recordings.
And sounds have never been this clear. That’s right, Sennheiser’s focus on improving meeting experiences is evident with these new conference highlights.
- Control Cockpit 3.1. is a software that simplifies audio adjustments for multiple devices. Sennheiser offered booth demos of TeamConnect Ceiling 2 audio enhancements. This microphone operates through patented beam-forming innovations, to improve the sound of human speech. Finally, this development initiated i\an upgrade in virtual meeting environments.

Known Worldwide, Exhibitor 3: Sony Makes a Winning Mark
Sony is a household name for developing quality entertainment technology. And remember, Sony won the conference’s best of show listing at InfoComm for the REA C100. The winning technology is a simple way of creating video in real time.
This year Sony focused on technology innovations centered on the theme, “Live Your Vision.” So, their three categories included Corporate and Education Solutions, Entertainment, and Healthcare Solutions. Here are a few of their conference show stoppers:
A. Artificial Intelligence based (AI-based) Video:
“Sony’s first (AI) based video analytics solution,” gives users the ability to make real time, simplified video productions. Sony’s first Artificial Intelligence-based video analytics solution is the REA-C1000.
Moreover, it won awards for accomplishing it mission “to allow users to create video content” And there was no “need for specialized training” or “additional staff or equipment.”
Breathless fans of custom made video gushed. “The compact and lightweight REA-C1000 (available now) uses advanced AI-based video analytics technology to analyze the input it receives from connected cameras…”
Likewise, Sony wowed attendees by proving the AI based machine could the all of these tasks automatically. First, it could extract an object, then focus it and finally combine it with other images. And it could do all of this in real time. Sony explained, “This unique technology uses motion/face detection and color/shape recognition.” Thus, “the REA-C1000” is “the powerful brain of any connected camera and AV setup. The technology allows various organizations to cost-effectively create professional, engaging content.”
B. Sony’s Giant Screens: Larger than Life
You might be reeling from Sony’s recent big screen claim to fame. So, they recently presented the world’s most intensely detailed 16k screen. It’s the largest of its kind and it debuted in Japan, not in the U.S.
Their news release explains, “Sony’s display has four times as many horizontal pixels as a 4K television and eight times that of a regular 1080p high definition TV.” You see, we in the US are not quite set up for that size ratio. A 16k screen shows images in far more detail than you have ever previously seen. So we know how big, and how detailed we can go. Sony showed the way. However, bigger and more detailed are not always the most commercially popular or useful to the general public.
However, just because we can, should we? You see, the huge detail can bring up other issues for some people. Details, features and identifying marks are more distinguishable on this big screen with it’s high contrast and ultra-sharp detail. Surprisingly, it’s the size of a big city bus and Sony revealed it two months before InfoComm 2019.
Smaller, but equally impressive was the shiny new InfoComm Crystal LED display. It was totally optimized for today’s lobby and reception environments. Sony showed off its 8 ft. x 15 ft. setup. It is like a digital sign, only better. Thus they showed off its versatility and applicability for the corporate market.
